All residences, whether City-serviced or private, are required to have recycling service per the City’s mandatory recycling ordinance.

If you are serviced by the City of San Diego, please contact the Environmental Services Department at (858) 694-7000 or e-mail trash@sandiego.gov to inquire about the services at your property. If you are serviced by a private franchise hauler, try reaching out directly to them or your property manager to inquire about recycling services at your property.
