Description:Unstable Palm Tree Removal Request: On Wednesday, 2/28/24, a city palm tree fell on a unit in our HOA complex at 3921 Oregon Street, San Diego CA 92104. I live next door (adjoining walls) at 3915 Oregon street and was home when it happened. It was an extremely loud crash and the whole building shook like an Earthquake. Pretty scary. Luckily no one was hurt. The structural damage is still being determined. It was removed that night Thanks! There is another palm tree right next to the one that fell that is leaning and has two very heavy fruit pods. I am very concerned it will fall soon as well and it is right in front of my condo at 3915 Oregon Street. I am requesting it be removed ASAP. I am having trouble sleeping at night and worry when I leave my place that it may fall when I'm away. This worry is really interrupting my life. Please remove it. I am more than happy to replace both the trees with a more safer shorter city approved tree. Thank You.
