I certify that the material I am transporting is household hazardous waste (HHW). The waste was generated from routine maintenance of my home or my vehicle and was not generated from a business or commercial activity.

I certify that I will transport no more than 15 gallons or 125 pounds of HHW per trip. I understand it is illegal to exceed these limits per Department of Transportation regulations.

IMPORTANT: Only HHW from residents of the City of San Diego will be accepted. Proof of residency is required at your appointment.

Please note:

1. Anyone entering the Household Hazardous Waste facility must wear a facemask.
2. Residents are required to remain in their vehicles at all times.
3. Persons entering the Household Hazardous Waste facility will be directed by onsite personnel.
4. Please note that due to the landfill and recycle center usage there may be traffic delays.
5. For easy access, keep hazardous materials in the car trunk or in the truck bed and not in the cabin.
