The new containers are not available for pick up at Collection Services. New container will be delivered to your property beginning October 2025 through 2026. The gray trash containers will be delivered first to all eligible properties. Light blue containers will be delivered on a second visit. If you selected a different size or number of green organic waste containers in the Portal, those will be delivered on a third visit. If you currently do not have a green organics container at all, please let us know at trash@sandiego.gov and we will provide one as soon as practicable.
